wildlife bingo figma application

Brief:

Reimagine how the popular game "BINGO" can be played on a smart phone device, and design an interactive prototype using Figma. To do this, follow an interaction design process starting at wireframes that will then result in a final product that will be a simulation/model/prototype of the final idea.

Approach:

This bingo is centered around children and has influences of i-spy. It is a gradual game they can play throughout the day as they see the items from their bingo boxes. For example, on a hike they see a bird’s nest, then they can check the box on the app. Once they win the bingo round, they get a wildlife badge specific to the theme of the round. The in-progress game is saved on the app until each game is completed. The goal is to keep children paying attention to the nature surrounding them while keeping them entertained through the challenge of the scavenger-hunt-like activity.

Result:

A functional game of I-spy bingo was produced on Figma with retro pattern influences and bright colors.
