bisect poster

Mercer art show

Brief:

Design a post-modern poster to showcase the Bisect art show in the Plunkett Gallery at Mercer University.

Approach:

With this poster I tired to throw all the “graphic design rules” I had been taught- out the window. I explored variations of reds and how they created depth even as flat colors. I layered letters and ventail text and really just had fun making something I don’t normally get to create.

Result:

This poster was used alongside other classmates to promote the show in the gallery and later won first place for poster design in a BEAR Day exhibition.
