Mercer University

Brief:

Re-design the existing Mercer University Art Dept. Trifold that is taken to art shows and other college events around campus.

Approach:

The previous poster didn’t include any students work so I asked a professor for some files of previous students work to showcase what the department actually creates. I created a color palette and found two paintings that matched nicely and did additional drawings on top to have interesting layers. There wasn’t much text that needed to be on the posters, as their main goal was to bring students over.

Result:

My trifold design was selected from a group of students and now used at college events to represent the department. (I did not design the pamphlets pictured with it below)
